We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a high-quality Italian-built 34m motor yacht operating a dual-season private and charter programme. The vessel is currently based in Europe and is American-owned.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with a proven track record of longevity, exceptional maintenance standards, and the ability to confidently manage all engineering operations. The successful candidate will have extensive experience planning and executing busy shipyard periods, maintaining planned maintenance systems (PMS), and upholding the highest safety standards.
Applicants must have experience with Hamann sewage treatment systems and Alfa Laval equipment, as these are essential requirements. Experience with Caterpillar C18 engines, Kohler generators, and Idromar watermakers is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will be a strict non-smoker, willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing, and able to integrate well with a fit, fun, and outgoing crew while maintaining a professional approach. Proven references and background checks will form part of the recruitment process. A B1/B2 visa is preferred.
