We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a professionally run motor yacht. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong technical knowledge, exceptional organisational skills, and a proactive approach to vessel maintenance and safety.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the engineering department, ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards. Applicants should be confident managing planned maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and overseeing engineering operations while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
We are looking for a professional, reliable, and team-oriented individual with proven longevity in previous roles and excellent references. The ideal candidate will integrate well with the existing crew while demonstrating strong leadership and attention to detail.
Start Date: 01 September 2026
Salary: EUR 8,000–9,000 per month, DOE
Leave: 60 days per year
Flights: Two return economy flights per year
Bonus: 13th month bonus at the Owner's discretion, subject to annual performance review
Probation Period: 3 months (7 days' notice during probation, 1 month's notice thereafter)
