We are looking for an experienced, confident and hands-on Chief Officer to join a 44m private sailing yacht as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will hold an OOW or Yachtmaster Ocean qualification and have a strong background in sailing yachts, with excellent seamanship, navigational knowledge and deck management skills. We are looking for someone who is professional, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility for the smooth running of the deck department.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Captain, assisting with navigational watchkeeping, passage planning, safety procedures, deck maintenance, tender operations and general vessel operations. Strong leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to oversee deck crew, maintain high exterior standards and confidently assist with sailing operations, including sail handling, rigging and manoeuvres. Previous experience onboard similar-sized sailing yachts would be highly advantageous.

- Salary: €7,000+ per month, DOE
- Leave: 60 days per annum

Requirements:

- Previous Officer experience onboard sailing yachts strongly preferred
