We are looking for an experienced, technically strong and motivated Second Engineer to join a 57m Private Motor Yacht. The ideal candidate will have previous engineering experience onboard similar-sized vessels, a solid understanding of onboard mechanical and electrical systems, and the confidence to assist with the smooth running of the engineering department.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Engineer, assisting with planned preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and the day-to-day operation of all onboard machinery and technical systems. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, proactive and confident with fault finding, with a strong understanding of engines, generators, hydraulics, HVAC and general yacht engineering systems. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a safety-conscious approach are essential.
Start Date: As soon as they find the right candidate
Salary: €7,000 p/month
